What are DTF Inks?
Direct-to-Film (DTF) inks are specially formulated pigment-based inks used in the DTF printing process to produce vibrant, durable designs on fabric. These inks are designed to work seamlessly with DTF PET film, providing vivid colors, fine details, and strong wash resistance when transferred onto textiles.

The DTF Ink Printing Process
Digital Printing on PET Film: The DTF process starts by digitally printing the desired design onto a specialized PET film. DTF inks ensure that the colors are vibrant and that the fine details are precisely rendered.
Application of DTF Adhesive Powder: While the ink on the PET film is still wet, a layer of DTF adhesive hot melt powder is added, which will later bond the design to the fabric.
Curing: The printed film with DTF ink and adhesive powder is cured using a heat press or curing oven. This step prepares the print for fabric transfer by solidifying the ink and adhesive.
Heat Transfer to Fabric: The cured PET film is positioned on the fabric, and a heat press is used to transfer the design onto the material. The heat activates the adhesive, bonding the ink firmly to the fabric.
Peeling the Film: Once the film cools, it is peeled away, leaving the vibrant design securely embedded in the fabric.
